Star is extremely talented in dressage and has the ability to go all the way! She is 14.2 hands, and is perfect for a talented teenage rider or a petite woman rider. Star is responsive forward, sensitive, and honest with 3 excellent gaits. Star is also jumping 2'3 and would make a wonderful partner for dressage, eventing, hunter-jumper and Pony Club. She is not spooky and is very well-mannered on the ground. Star will be 11 years old in May. Her legs are clean and she is sound. Great hooves--no shoes needed. Star does best with kind, soft riders. I have trained her with no gimmicks and she moves easily off the leg. This mare has a wonderful foundation in classical dressage. Very light contact and no whips/spurs needed. I bought Star last fall to train and sell. She was very thin at the time. If I didn't already have two special needs horses who have permanent homes with me, I would keep Star for pleasure and showing. This is a lovely mare with elegant movement. Star is working on lengthenings and collection. Her canter is amazing! For reference, the rider is 5'6" tall. Star would also make a wonderful pleasure/trail horse, as she is not spooky.
