Member meetings are held at Latigo Trails Heritage Centre, 13710 Hallelujah Trail, Elbert,

Parker Trail Riders, is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1962.  PTR celebrates the great pleasure of riding and caring for horses.  PTR is based in beautiful Parker, Colorado and includes members from Douglas and Elbert Counties and the surrounding areas.  Our goal is to provide horse riders of all ages with opportunities to participated in equestrian events:   Trail Rides, Pleasure Shows,  Gymkhana Shows, Training Clinics, Social Events and Parades.  PTR general membership  meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Colorado Horse Park at 7:30pm.  7522 S. Pinery Parkway.

Hey y'all we have our 5th Annual Open Barrelrace and fun events coming up on
October 3rd, 2:30 p.m. at the Walk-A-Mile Arena starting with exhibition
barrels $3 per run. Open barrels $25 per run, PeeWee (8 and under), $10 per
run, Youth barrels $15 per run Fun events, Poles, Streaking Poles. Flags, And
Jelly Fish, $5 per class per run. Age groups on all fun events, 8 and under,
9-17 and 18 and over. Enter as many times as you wish. One time office charge
of $5 on all events. There will be a 70% pay back on all events up to third
place except exhibition barrels. Concession available, warm up are, playground
for the kids. Tack-N-More shop will be open duing events. Hope to see y'all

The New Rowdy Riders will be riding on Friday nites starting March 7th at 6:30 p.m. at the Walk-A-Mile Arena located at mile post 14 Business Hwy. 50 East. We will begin with a practice judged event followed by two lead line events  and then three speed events. There will be a 70% payback on speed events in all three age divisions. Rides are available to members and non-members. Weather permitting we will ride every Friday nite through the end of October.
