Parker Trail Riders, is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1962.  PTR celebrates the great pleasure of riding and caring for horses.  PTR is based in beautiful Parker, Colorado and includes members from Douglas and Elbert Counties and the surrounding areas.  Our goal is to provide horse riders of all ages with opportunities to participated in equestrian events:   Trail Rides, Pleasure Shows,  Gymkhana Shows, Training Clinics, Social Events and Parades.  PTR general membership  meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Colorado Horse Park at 7:30pm.  7522 S. 7th Annual Spring Classic Horse Show and Gymkhana, Saturday March 22, 2008.  Show to be held at West Pueblo Saddle Club Arena.  Office opens at 8AM and Show starts at 9AM.  High Point Overall Award as well as High Point Award in each age group.  Office Charge: $3 per exhibitor, Entry Fee:  $4 per class or $25 for all day.  Age groups: 8& under, 9-13, 14-18 and 19 & over.  Concession stand available.  Informal dress: Show clothes not required. The New Rowdy Riders will be riding on Friday nites starting March 7th at 6:30 p.m. at the Walk-A-Mile Arena located at mile post 14 Business Hwy. 50 East. We will begin with a practice judged event followed by two lead line events  and then three speed events. There will be a 70% payback on speed events in all three age divisions. Rides are available to members and non-members. Weather permitting we will ride every Friday nite through the end of October. Highline Horses – located in Littleton, we offer lessons and training in Western and/or English Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Gymkhana, Halter and Showmanship, Trail, and simply basic riding and horsemanship in both English and Western. Lesson horses are available, or you can trailer in.
